Leanne is currently department lecturer of Art & Design at Leek School of Art / University of Derby, and associate Lecturer of Fine Art at the University of Central Lancashire.
She is interested in the liminality of private and public spaces. In her work she creates narratives that explore the way in which our identity is impacted by the space we inhabit: how the blurring of boundaries might affect and revise our sense of self. She primarily works with sound, photography, and artists books.
Leanne is a UK based writer, artist, academic and teacher. Her works engage with storytelling in a way that revisions identity, reality and fantasy. She holds an MA in Arts from University of the Arts, London, a BA in Fine Art from University of Central Lancashire, and a PGCE with QTS in Secondary English from University of Cumbria. She is founder of independent publishing house Corner Collective, and LECURA Education; specialising in English Literature and Fine Art.
